Pittsburgh Recap

HIII! Sorry I’ve been away for so long 😦 but I’m back!

Last weekend I went on a quick trip to Pittsburgh!

A few weeks ago, I got into the college of arts and sciences/ health and rehabilitation center and the coordinated masters program in nutrition and dietetics. The University is actually in the top ten schools of the country for the sciences and I am extremely grateful and excited to be accepted!

My brother and me!

For those who didn’t know, I want to become a registered dietitian (to hopefully work with those with eating disorders, but we’ll see where life goes!) I have worked sooooo hard to get to where I am and I am over the moon ecstatic to be apart of this community/ finally call myself a “further registered dietitian!”

I have OFFICIALLY committed and  I feel an immense sense of relief in my classes (in high school.) All my hard work payed off and high school is almost over (FINALLY-haha!)

This is the Cathedral of Learning, it was absolutely breath taking! The rooms are beautiful and I just fell in love with it!

I spent the weekend  visiting an amazing city and taking in the addicting college atmosphere. Also, this trip just reinforced my love for balanced eating, not stressing about dieting/weight and just enjoying life… and not to mention the food! I was able to spend the time enjoying everything, without worrying about falling “off track” since there is so “track” I am on!

Salad, “Fig, ricotta, arugula and proscuito pizza,” bruschetta and the BEST peanut butter gelato I’ve had since Italy!

I didn’t get a lot of time since we had a pretty short window (aka drive up, tour the college, go home) but what I did see I FELL in love with!

One down side the LONGGGG drive (8+ hours- cue eye roll) but next time we are flying HAHA!!
That was this weekend! Hope you all had an amazing and relaxing weekend too! Tell me what you guys did this weekend/ what you plan to do ❤
